Design Weekend hosted by Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, was structured as a student-focused design competition and as a non-student team, RB Systems was not eligible to win awards or sponsorships, however, was invited to show off its design to the public. The event welcomed some of the best and brightest students from around the world, prominent companies and sponsors, leading engineers of SpaceX as judges, and was complemented by keynotes from a former astronaut Dr. Gregory Chamitoff, U.S. Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx, and cameo appearance of Elon Musk.
